Rental Agreement
For your protection, we will provide a
written agreement for our storage services. Make sure to
read through it thoroughly and ask for answers to any
questions that you may have. If you change your address
or phone number, please contact us in writing (email or
letter).
Insurance
The goods you store are the sole
responsibility of the owner. Please be sure to check
with your homeowner or renter's insurance company to
determine if additional coverage is needed.
Locks
Always use a good quality lock on your
door.
Prohibited storage goods
Never store live animals, perishables,
liquids, explosives, flammable liquids and fuels, toxic
materials, or other items that need a controlled
environment. Be sure to drain fuel from gasoline engines
before moving vehicles into a storage compartment.
Planning
Plan your storage space. Arrange the
space so that frequently needed items are at the front
of the unit. Leave a walkway to the rear of your space
for easy access. Use all the space available, including
the height. Below are some helpful hints on how to pack
your storage unit:
-
Distribute the weight
evenly in your container, not all on one side
-
Boxes should be
filled completely and lids closed
-
Protect your items
with paper pads, bubble pack or moving blankets
-
Place heavy items on
the bottom, lightweight items on the top
-
Heavy items should be
packed in small boxes for easier lifting while
lightweight items can go in larger boxes
-
Avoid leaving open
spaces in the storage unit where items can shift
Security
Do not give out your gate code or any
information to anyone who is not listed as having
access.
